Vitali Gambarov is an artist, sculptor, and a philosopher. Born in Russia, he received Masters of Fine Arts from the Academy of Fine and Theater Arts of Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, Republic of the Soviet Union. He is a member of the Artists Union of Russia and a corresponding member of Saint-Petersburg Academy of Humanities.
He participated in hundred exhibitions and had a dozen solo shows in Europe and Russia. Traveling between North America, Europe and Russia, Vitaly discovers new inspiration for his work.
His art is a journey of self-expression and his reaction to the emerging nihilism in Western culture. Vitaly is intrigued by the poignantly ambivalent nature of a human being. For him, being a human and constantly evaluating the quality of the inherent contradictions, means fighting for the quality of a soul. Emphasizing that everyone is between Good and Evil, Vitaly mostly works in black and white.
